Opening hours of the National Archives for user are:
 
Monday to Thursday:
8.30h - 12.30h and 14.00h - 16.30h
Friday:
8:30h - 13.00h

Due to upcoming renovation and remodeling of the Richard Wagner Museum the house Wahnfried is actually completely closed. However, the archives, picture library, and administration are accessible. Appointment scheduling in advance is indispensable.

Because of the removal of our objects and autograph collection to outlying depots unfortunately loans for exhibitions etc. are meanwhile not possible. We therefore ask you to refrain from any loan requests so far. Many thanks for your understandig.
